I Produce Music

I am Sarath and I produce music under the alias Nagaari. My musical interests have taken many different directions over the years. From 80s/90s western pop and Indian film songs as a teen to blues, classic rock and heavy metal music in college. This wide range of genres I listened to growing up motivated me to learn piano and guitar as well as to develop songwriting skills.

Being a part of an indo-western fusion band for a couple of years during college was crucial in shaping my musical journey. I had instantly fallen in love with experimental music spanning different genres and wanted to compose and produce my own songs. In order to pursue this goal, I started to learn music production in 2015 and took on the alias Nagaari. Since then, I have been actively composing, arranging, producing, mixing and mastering music spanning several genres including EDM, Trap/Hip-Hop, Synthwave, Electronica and World Music.

As a music producer, my goal has always been to collaborate with artists from all around the world. I have released 10 singles so far featuring artists from both USA and India. As part of two IndianRaga fellowships in 2018, I collaborated on over 25 songs with a total of 1.5M+ views on YouTube.
